This Cookie and Analytics Disclosure explains how Cemerix uses cookies, browser storage, server logs, analytics tools, error-monitoring tools, and similar technologies on cemerix.com.
This Disclosure should be read together with the Cemerix Website Privacy Notice.
1. Current Website Stage
Cemerix currently operates a pre-product public website used to explain the company, founder perspective, intended product direction, discovery activities, and future pilot plans.
The current Website does not require public professional accounts, credential uploads, evidence uploads, employer workspaces, or production product access.
2. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small text files stored by a browser or device.
Similar technologies may include:
- Browser local storage;
- Session storage;
- Server logs;
- Tags or scripts;
- Software development kits;
- Device or session identifiers; and
- Security and performance telemetry.
These technologies may be used to operate the Website, maintain security, remember choices, diagnose errors, and understand Website performance.
3. Technology Categories
A. Strictly necessary technologies
Necessary technologies may support:
- Page delivery and navigation;
- Website security;
- Fraud and abuse prevention;
- Load balancing;
- Form submission;
- Privacy-preference storage;
- Availability and reliability; and
- Protection against malicious requests.
These technologies may operate without an optional analytics choice because the Website may not function securely or reliably without them.
B. Functional technologies
Functional technologies may remember choices such as:

- Accessibility preferences;
- Form progress; and
- Other user-selected settings.
Cemerix will not enable nonessential functional storage without first confirming its purpose and documenting it.
C. Optional analytics
Optional analytics may help Cemerix understand:
- Pages viewed;
- General traffic sources;
- Link selections;
- General device and browser categories;
- Approximate region;
- Page-load performance;
- Form-start and form-completion events; and
- Website errors.
Optional analytics must remain disabled until the production implementation is audited, the provider and transmitted data are documented, and any required preference control is active.
Cemerix will not intentionally send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, message contents, free-text form responses, privacy-request details, passwords, authentication tokens, or sensitive information to general Website analytics.
D. Advertising technologies
Cemerix does not authorize advertising cookies, behavioral advertising pixels, cross-site tracking, session replay, or creation of advertising audiences from Website inquiry information for the current launch.
If Cemerix introduces such technology, this Disclosure will be updated and any legally required consent or opt-out mechanism will be provided before activation.
4. Current Launch Configuration
For the current pre-product launch:
- Necessary hosting, security, and server-log processing may occur through Cemerix’s production infrastructure providers.
- Optional analytics must remain disabled unless the final production audit confirms the provider, data flow, disclosures, and preference controls.
- Session replay must remain disabled.
- Advertising and cross-site tracking must remain disabled.
- Social-media tracking pixels must remain disabled.
- External LinkedIn links may take you to LinkedIn, where LinkedIn’s own technologies and policies apply.
Before public deployment, Cemerix will document the exact provider, cookie, browser-storage, script, and external-domain inventory.
5. Production Verification Requirement
Before public launch, Cemerix will audit the repository and deployed Website to identify:
- Every cookie;
- Every local-storage key;
- Every session-storage key;
- Every third-party script;
- Every external network domain;
- Every analytics event;
- Every error-monitoring payload;
- Every form destination; and
- Every embedded service.
If a technology is not accurately described in this Disclosure, Cemerix will remove the technology or update this Disclosure before enabling it publicly.
6. Information That Optional Analytics Must Not Collect
General Website analytics must not intentionally collect:
- Names;
- Email addresses;
- Telephone numbers;
- Passwords;
- Authentication secrets;
- Privacy-request details;
- Free-text contact messages;
- Identity documents;
- Credential documents;
- Private professional evidence;
- Sensitive employment information;
- Financial information;
- Medical information;
- Precise location;
- Document filenames containing personal information; or
- URLs containing tokens or private identifiers.
7. Privacy Preferences
A Cookie Preferences page may be available at:

When optional technologies are enabled, the page should provide clear choices such as:
- Use Necessary Only;
- Enable Functional Preferences;
- Enable Optional Analytics; and
- Save Preferences.
Optional choices must not be preselected.
If the production Website uses only necessary technologies, Cemerix may provide an informational preferences page without displaying unnecessary consent controls.
8. Browser Controls
Most browsers allow you to:
- View cookies;
- Delete cookies;
- Block cookies;
- Block third-party cookies;
- Clear local or session storage; and
- Receive warnings before cookies are stored.
Blocking all browser storage may interfere with Website functions.
9. Global Privacy Control and Similar Signals
Where required by applicable law and technically relevant to Cemerix’s practices, Cemerix will process recognized opt-out preference signals.
Because Cemerix does not currently authorize sale of personal information, cross-context targeted advertising, or advertising audiences, such a signal may not change the Website beyond available analytics preferences.
10. Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit a Do Not Track signal.
There is not one universally accepted technical standard for responding to all Do Not Track signals. Cemerix instead provides the choices described in this Disclosure and will honor legally required opt-out signals.
11. Embedded Content
The Website may later include scheduling tools, video, maps, forms, social content, or product demonstrations.
Cemerix will not enable nonessential embedded content until its data practices have been reviewed, this Disclosure has been updated when necessary, and appropriate privacy controls have been applied.
12. Changes to This Disclosure
Cemerix may update this Disclosure when a provider, technology, storage duration, Website function, or legal requirement changes.
The Last Updated date will identify the latest revision.
